The object of the game is to shoot, or friend the duck the fastest when it appears. Sometimes ducks drop
freedom coins (FDM). When one appears it will look something like:
..--``--.. `-ó< QUACK QUACK [8]
Note that the exact appearence is different everytime but it will be similar to this. The green number 8 is very important as you will need to use this number if the duck has appeared within the last 30 seconds, it is called the macro-key. This is a security measure to prevent people from easily using scripts or macros to cheat.
To shoot a duck you would simply type: @bang 8
Remember that the macro-key 8 will be random with every duck!
Similarly to friend a duck type: @befr 8
There are a variety of commands available for getting basic information and statistics:
| Command | Description |
| @ducks | Tells you what weapon you are currently using, and how many kills and befriends you have. |
| @duckstats | Channel wide statistics as well as some basic network wide statistics. |
| @killers | A top 10 list of killers for the channel. |
| @friends | A top 10 list of frienders for the channel. |
The game has 4 primary purchaseble goods; guns, ammo, lures, and duck calls. Guns are used to shoot ducks down for a kill, ammo is used in the guns, lures are used to lure in befriend ducks, and duck calls are used to try and call a duck.
A variety of guns are available and they have different attributes and qualities, for example the Saiga is very fast to shoot and holds a lot of ammo, but not very accurate, and the Irish Punter is extremely slow to shoot and only holds 1 round, but significantly increases your chance of a payout. Also to note is the guns speed, this directly corelates to how long you will have to wait between shots when you miss or have as missfire.
| Command | Description |
| @duckguns | This command will tell you what gun you have active, and it's statistics. |
| @duckguns inventory (also inv, i) | This lists the guns that you own, their stats, and which one is currently active. |
| @duckguns activate [ID] (also act, a) | Use this command to switch up what your current active gun is, you can get the ID number from @duckguns inventory |
| @duckguns list (also l) | This lists all of the available guns for sale. |
| @duckguns buy [ID] (also b) | This will allow you to buy a gun, note that you can get the ID for a given gun from @duckguns list |
| @duckguns sell [ID] | This will allow you to sell a gun for half the price you paid back to the bot. You can get the ID from @duckguns inventory |
| @ammo [boxes] | Purchase ammo by the box, there is 20 rounds per box. |
A variety of lures are available and they have different functions, attributes and qualities just like guns. For example a loaf of bread comes with 80 slices, but is a relatively slow process and doesn't work all that often, where as the McDuck Coin works very fast, has a very high success rate, and can double the loot the duck gives you. Unlike guns which last forever, lures either have a capacity, or a durability and will eventually run out or break. So they are finite items that need to be replaced from time to time. Note that lures speed corelates to how long you must wait between failed attempts to use it.
| Command | Description |
| @ducklures | This command will tell you what lure you have active, and it's statistics. |
| @ducklures inventory (also inv, i) | This lists the lures that you own, their stats, and which one is currently active. |
| @ducklures activate [ID] (also act, a) | Use this command to switch up what your current active lure is, you can get the ID number from @ducklures inventory |
| @ducklures list (also l) | This lists all of the available lures for sale. |
| @ducklures buy [ID] (also b) | This will allow you to buy a lure, note that you can get the ID for a given lure from @ducklures list |
Duck calls are used to try and call a duck, much like lures they all have various attributes, and also have a durability meaning they will eventually run out or break. Also note that duck calls have a cooldown time, both for you as the user, and for the channel as a whole. So when you use a duck call you will have to wait a set period of time (per channel settings), whilest someone else will have to wait a different time before they can do a call. A typical setup in channels is 10 minutes per user, and 3 minutes channel wide.
